After submitting your application, our design engineers will assess whether a site visit is necessary. In some cases, we require a site visit before providing a quote—these are classified as ‘non-standard’ projects.

  • Water supply work – Due to the complex regulations and conditions surrounding water, a site visit is mandatory.
  • Utilities located beyond the standard distance from the main service point – This will be determined following your initial phone consultation.

If a site visit is required, your dedicated account manager will contact you to arrange it. The design and costing process typically takes between two to four weeks, depending on the scope of the work.

However, certain factors beyond our control may cause delays in utility work. These include permit requirements, the complexity of the project, the property’s distance from utility mains, and its location—more remote properties often face greater challenges with connections, disconnections, alterations, or diversions.

Additionally, if the work affects traffic flow, we must account for traffic management measures and schedule the work accordingly, which may impact the overall timeline.
